HOT MELTS
Hot melt adhesive, also known as hot glue, is a form of thermoplastic adhesive that is commonly supplied in solid cylindrical sticks of various diameters, the glue is tacky when hot, and solidifies in a few seconds to one minute. Hot melt adhesive is a 100-percent solid adhesive that is mainly composed of thermoplastic resin and contains no organic solvent agent, and is solid or semi-solid at normal temperature.
Hot melt adhesives can also be applied by dipping or spraying. In industrial use, hot melt adhesives provide several advantages over solvent-based adhesives. Volatile organic compounds are reduced or eliminated, and the drying or curing step is eliminated. Hot melt adhesives have long shelf life and usually can be disposed of without special precautions.

Pressure sensitive adhesives
Pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA, self-adhesive, self-stick adhesive) is adhesive which forms a bond when pressure is applied to marry the adhesive with the adherend. No solvent, water, or heat is needed to activate the adhesive. It is used in pressure-sensitive tapes, labels, glue dots, note pads, automobile trim, and a wide variety of other products.
